Hatch End Day Nursery is a purpose built building for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with plenty of character throughout. This nursery is perfect for anyone who travels to work, located only 5 minutes from Hatch End Train Station which is a main line into London, within easy reach of the M1, M25 and A41, and plenty of parking.

Our rooms are bright and colourful with displays of the children's work and equipped with a wide variety of toys and resources designed to enhance the children’s individual development stages. Our qualified and experienced staff team work closely with parents to ensure each child’s individual needs are met in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Continuous provision and free-flow allows children to access toys and resources of interest to them.

We offer a settling in period, up to 8 weeks prior to the child’s first day at nursery. Within this period “Play and stay sessions” are available, where children and parents can spend some time in the nursery together.

In our Baby Room we care for children between the ages of 3 months and 15 months. We ensure each child’s routine is met, providing a home from home feel where possible. Our planned activities are designed to enhance children’s growth and development.

Our Toddler Room cares for children from 15 months to 2 years. A wide range of toys, resources and daily activities provide children plenty of opportunities to explore and investigate. Children are encouraged to develop their walking and balancing, language, and emotional development.

Children aged 2 to 3 years are cared for in our Nursery Room. The room is divided into different areas, offering a creative and messy play area, construction area, home corner, and a role play area. Children are encouraged to develop their understanding of the world around them through carefully planned activities individual to each child. We support the children and parents in potty training.

Our Pre-School Room is divided into the six areas of learning and offers a range of toys, equipment and activities designed to prepared children for the transition to school. We encourage children to become independent, and to develop their communication, language and literacy skills at their own pace.

Our nursery also offer School Days which is where you have the option for us to care for your children in any of our rooms for the length of the school day, from 9.00am till 3.30pm. This enables you to match up your childcare with other children you may have attending full-time school.

Fresh, nutritional meals are prepared onsite following Asquith’s recipes. All our meals are nut free and we cater for dietary requirements and preferences. Staff eat with the children at each meal time to demonstrate table manners and the children are encouraged to develop their independence and self help skills by serving their own meals.

In the three secure gardens, children enjoy the climbing frames set on the soft play surface, or take part in a wide variety of outdoor activities on the grass area as an extension to the carefully planned indoor curriculum. The Nursery offers weekly French classes for children over 2 years and supplies nappies, wipes and formula milk for children under 2 years.
