Finsbury Park Day Nursery is a purpose built building designed to accommodate up to 103 children aged 3 months to 5 years. Close to Finsbury Park tube station, but set in a quiet location away from the main roads, this nursery is ideal for commuters.

Our large and air-conditioned rooms offer a warm, loving and stimulating environment for children of all ages. Our qualified and experienced staff team plan a wide variety of fun and stimulating activities, enabling each child to develop to their full potential at their own pace. Continuous provision and free-flow play allows the children to move freely around the indoor and outdoor environments, accessing all areas and following their own interests.

Our cosy Baby Room is designed for children aged 3 months to 12 months. We are dedicated to meeting and following each babies’ routine, in partnership with their parents, to create a home from home feel where possible. The children have access to a wide variety of toys, equipment and activities designed to stimulate their sensory explorations.

We have two Toddler Rooms accommodating children from 1 to 2 years in a fun and friendly environment. The rooms are well equipped with creative and messy play, water and sand trays, and a book corner. Children are encouraged to select equipment and activities of interest to them.

Our Nursery Room is full of opportunities to learn, play and explore through a wide variety of daily activities, toys and play equipment. Our planned activities are designed to enhance each individual child’s learning and development. We take children from 2 to 3 years in the Nursery Room.

Our Pre-School Room is divided up into cosy and quiet areas, physical play areas, and creative and messy play areas, where children are encouraged to select their own resources to play with. The children can also take part in daily activities designed to develop their communication, language and literacy skills required prior to starting school. In addition, the children have the opportunity to join French classes on a Friday morning and visit the mobile Library once a month.

All our well balanced and healthy meals are freshly prepared onsite following Asquith’s renowned recipes. We serve a range of hot and cold food along with a snack bar of fruit, milk and water, which is available between meals. We can cater for dietary requirements and preferences. The staff eat with the children at each meal and the children are encouraged to develop their independence by self serving their own meals.

There are two large gardens where children have plenty of opportunities for physical play and development. The babies can explore the outdoor environment in safety, in their own garden, whilst the toddlers have a separate play area within the over 2’s garden. The play areas are equipped with large sandpits, a music area, and shelters for hot summer days.
