Bushy Park Day Nursery is based in a spacious, carefully refurbished converted church hall with plenty for your child to explore and experience. Specifically designed for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. We enjoy a wonderful location opposite the beautiful Bushy Park, close to Kingston town centre and the River Thames, and within a few minutes walk of two train lines into London.

Our staff team offers a good balance of experience and fresh ideas, enabling children to develop to their full potential in a happy and loving environment. Our three large, bright and airy rooms are set up to encourage independence, and exploration skills. Continuous provision and free-flow allows children to move freely around the indoor and outdoor environments accessing all areas, following their own interests and re-visiting favourite activities.

At Bushy Park, we do all we can to support the fundamental relationship between parent and child, and to help the children to develop and progress as individuals. We use the Key Person approach to ensure that our children have a strong relationship with an adult in the nursery to support their emotional well being.

Our Baby Room provides a homely environment and can accommodate up to 15 children from 3 months to 16 months old. We provide a wide variety of toys and activities designed to stimulate babies’ sensory explorations.

Our Nursery Room can accommodate up to 15 children aged 16 months to 2 and a half years old. The room is bright and colourful with attractive displays. The children have the opportunity to develop their learning and development skills through quality play experiences such as creative play and role play.

Our Pre-School Room is a colourful, attractive and stimulating environment for children aged between 2 and a half and 5 years old. We can accommodate 32 children in this room. A wide variety of planned activities are designed to prepare children for the transition to school, emphasis is placed on communication, language and literacy skills.

We have two safe and secure gardens with an additional side garden for the over twos, all of which can be accessed by the children throughout the day, taking their learning and interests outdoors. We also have sheltered areas for hot summer days. Regular nature walks allow the children to explore the surroundings.

Our nutritional meals are freshly prepared onsite by our full time cook. We have a four week menu which is displayed in the nursery. We can also cater for a variety of dietary requirements or preferences.

Five star EHO rating (2010) for food safety and hygiene.
