Caterham Day Nursery offers a stimulating and spacious environment for children from 3 months to 5 years old in a modern, purpose-designed building. Located within ten minutes walk of Whyteleafe Train Station, close to the M25 and with ample parking, Caterham Day Nursery is ideal for commuters, offering convenience together with the highest quality childcare available.

Inside, the children are welcomed into light, spacious and airy rooms, where our qualified and experienced staff team of 20+ organise a wide variety of stimulating activities appropriate for each age group. Continuous provisions and free-flow allows the children to move freely around the indoor and outdoor environments, accessing all areas and following their own interests.

Our Baby Room provides a cosy, homely environment for babies aged 3 months to 12 months. Our wide variety of toys and resources, including a black and white sensory area, a book corner, and interest tables are designed to stimulate babies’ sensory explorations. In partnership with parents we ensure all babies’ routines are met to the best of our ability.

Our Toddler Room is bright and colourful and accommodates up to 12 children aged 12 months to 2 years. The room is fully equipped with age-appropriate toys and resources designed to enhance all areas of children’s learning and development, including creative play, water and sand trays, a book corner, and a role play area. Children are encouraged to select their own resources to play with. We also have a milk kitchen situated within the Toddler Room.

Our large and bright Nursery Room is open plan, set across two rooms and can accommodate up to 30 children aged 2 to 3 years. The rooms are set up to encourage independence, and exploration. Children are able to engage in activities to suit their own interests, and are further supported by our trained and experienced staff. There are also toilet facilities within the room.

Our Pre-School Room provides a busy and stimulating environment for children aged 3 to 5 years. We can accommodate up to 24 children. There are plenty of opportunities for children to learn through planned activities, play, and first hand experiences both indoors and outdoors. We encourage children to become independent, and to develop their social skills by communicating and sharing with others.

Our nursery also offer School Days which is where you have the option for us to care for your children in any of our rooms for the length of the school day, from 9.00am till 3.30pm. This enables you to match up your childcare with other children you may have attending full-time school.

We prepare fresh, nutritional meals onsite from Asquith’s renowned recipes. We also cater for any dietary requirements and preferences.

Extensive and well-planned grounds include a large lawn and three playgrounds. Babies can explore the outdoor environment in safety, in their own play area with a soft surface. The nursery, toddler and pre-school children’s playgrounds are equipped with a climbing frame, wooden chalet shelters, and a sandpit. We also have a special gardening area where children can enjoy growing their own flowers, herbs and vegetables in our three raised beds.
