Epsom Day Nursery is based in a large, beautiful Victorian building and provides a homely atmosphere for up to 100 children from 3 months to 5 years. A ten minute walk from Epsom Train Station and with parking facilities for parents to use, when bringing and collecting their children, this nursery is convenient whilst offering a safe, stimulating and loving environment for your child.

Inside, we have rooms of various sizes for different age groups, all well equipped with new toys and furniture to encourage development through exciting experiences and opportunities. Our qualified, experienced and loving staff team are dedicated to ensuring each child’s individual needs are met in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. We plan a wide variety of age-appropriate activities in which children can access freely following their individual interests.

We have five cosy and homely rooms for babies aged 3 months to 18 months, depending on their progress, babies can move up to the Toddler Room from 15 months old. Our five Baby Rooms include a sensory room, a creative room, and a sleep room. The sensory room is a small but stimulating environment designed to enhance babies’ sensory explorations. The creative room is equipped with a variety of resources such as sand and water trays, a craft area, and paint and messy activities. We work closely with parent to ensure each individual babies’ routines is met to the best of our ability.

Our Toddler Room accommodates children aged 15 months to 2 years in spacious, colourful rooms. The children have the opportunity to develop their learning and development skills though creative play and physical play. We also have a separate, quieter room for sensory play and sleep times.

Our Nursery Room provides a stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 3 years. With three separate rooms, children have the opportunity to develop their learning and development skills through a combination of planned activities, play, and first hand experiences. Free flow enables the children to move freely between the rooms selecting activities, toys and equipment of interest to them.

Our large, busy Pre-School Rooms accommodate children aged 3 to 5 years. Two large rooms are divided into the six areas of learning and development to ensure children have all the necessary skills required prior to starting school. With free flow between the rooms, the children are encourage to select their own resources to play with.

Our qualified chef prepares fresh, nutritional meals following the menus designed by Asquith. We ensure all children’s dietary requirements and preferences are met and they have a well balanced and healthy diet. Children are encouraged to develop their independence and self help skills by serving their own meals, with support from the staff, who eat with the them at each meal time.

Outside, there is a large garden where the children enjoy both planned and spontaneous games. Our large playground has a soft surface and a climbing frame as well as a grass area where the children have the opportunity for digging and planting. There is plenty of space for ball games and somewhere quiet for the children to sit and enjoy story time.

We provide sessional nursery education for children from 3 years old who are eligible for the Nursery Education Grant from the government. Sessions run from 9am to 11.30am and 12.30pm to 3pm, school term time only. Up to five sessions per week can be taken.

After School Club is available for children up to 8 years old. A walking bus picks the children up from St Martin's School in Epsom at 3.20pm and brings them back to the nursery until 6pm. There is a range of indoor and outdoor activities, and a light, nutritious tea is served.
